Thanks Dean, I have disabled the visual editor as a work-around and this has worked. Cheers….

    Could you help with this

Chrome is based on webkit :) This all looks fine in Firefox and IE; however, being a chrome user myself, I’d love to find out if Dean can create some kind of IF-ELSE condition based on the Browser ID string to keep the shadow for non-webkit browsers, or some kinda wonderful html 5 fix for [...]

Darn it! Nothing more embarrassing than a non existent problem. Having switched themes and a few plugins to find the culprit I just reactivated Traject and the widgets page is displaying perfectly. So, scratch that last and well done that man!

Dean, terrific plugin nearly all the time. Until I took a look at the widgets page, no sidebar, every widget open and detailed. The culprit is the Traject theme which has the functionality to create new widget areas which are then allocated to pages. WP is 3.01. Many premium themes and plugins provide this sort of functionality. Is there anything you can give me by way of a general steer as to what I should look for?

I’m assuming you’ve got the “Disable the visual editor when writing” checkbox selected on the “Your Profile” page in the admin? If not that’s the first thing I’d try. I only ever use the HTML editor and haven’t had this problem, but I’ve also never embedded Google Maps directly into the post, its possible that [...]

Hi there, Just wondering whether there is a small code change to the plugin that I can implement to ensure that when I edit a post, the default view is always the raw HTML (rather than the WYSIWYG editor)? All of my posts have embedded Google Maps and defaulting to the WYSIWYG view first, causes [...]

The problem is I can’t view and access some of the plugins from the top rows .I could able to access them If I disable “Hover menus” option .

  • Dean Robinson posted on the forum topic Compatibility with Ozh' Admin Drop Down Menu in the group Fluency Admin:   1 week, 3 days ago · View

Both mine and Ozh’s plugins are doing much the same thing in that we are redesigning a large portion of how the admin interface works – in my mind they aren’t really meant to ‘work’ together, but that doesn’t mean they can’t. I haven’t looked at Ozh’s plugin for quite a while, but depending on [...]

Just to clarify, you’d like the submenus to support three columns instead of the current two columns? If this is the case you’ll most likely need to edit the css and the javascript that comes with Fluency (off the top of my head I can’t tell you which bits). I hadn’t come across anyone who [...]

This is a known issue, hopefully I’ll be able to resolve it in the next update.

I use Ozh’ Admin Drop Down Menu for having a horizontal menu, and when Fluency Admin is turned on, it’s all messed up.
Is it possible that you’d support it?

  • Dean Robinson posted on the forum topic Suppressing Fluency Options Using Multisite in the group Fluency Admin:   3 weeks ago · View

I haven’t done a massive amount of testing on multisite installs, from memory pretty much all I tested was that the menu and admin screen appeared, didn’t check how things behaved on the other blogs. As far as the settings not being passed across its possibly just a case of me needing to target different [...]

      Hey Dean,

Did you have a chance to look into this?

Nice work, will be really nice with a couple of tweeks for multisites.

Hi! I’m trying to use Fluency on a multisite install and so far, things are working great. My only concern is that the settings I’ve chosen for the “main blog’ — the domain — aren’t passed over into the child blogs (no admin panel custom image, skinned login). Is there any easy way to fix [...]
