Hi Dean, first of alI I have to say I really admire the work you have done with Fluency Admin. I’ve just discovered that, after updating FA to its latest version, one of the sidepanel’s menu-item has broken label. It can be seen on the screenshot from my admin area (plus the code from Firebug). [...]

SOLVED: Plugin conflict – Admin renamer extended

I have just upgraded Wordpress to 3.2.1 and am getting this issue also.

Thanks Dean – do you have a quick fix I could try for the first issue? A solid colour fallback in IE is fine for me, just so that it’s similar to the actual menu colour.

The menu bg issue is a simple one, the bg is actually a subtle gradient, and I just haven’t corrected/change the fallback bg color that IE shows, will make a note of it for the next update. The second one looks like its probably the result of slight differences in the way various browsers render [...]

Hi Dean, Great job with Fluency Admin 3.2, I like it much better and have been using Fluency since day one on all of my websites. Although I don’t use Internet Explorer myself (yuck) plenty of my clients do (unfortunately). I have noticed the following issue in the latest version of IE: http://i.min.us/ijsBWy.png I have [...]

Hi. Excellent plugin! However, I’m also having similar problems. The plugin works fine on 2 of my online sites both running WP 3.2.1 and Fluency 3.2. On my localhost, I can’t get the plugin to work. Also running WP 3.2.1 and Fluency 3.2. I’ve tried the workaround mentioned above, but no luck. The sidemenu doesn’t [...]

Hi Dean, lovely piece of work you have done with Fluency Admin. My issue is relatively simple. I have it set to the default (dark drey) color scheme, but for some reason I ma getting a white background to the LHS menu until I scroll down and then the dark grey background slides in. Here [...]

    Fantastic update, Dean!

All right, so I don’t exactly know what I’ve got going on, but I’ve installed Fluency on every install of Wordpress I manage. They’re all up to date, as is Fluency, and they all work perfectly, save for one of the installs.

I’m not sure what to look for, but not all of the styles load, nor do the hover menus work. I see that fluency styles and javascript have been added to the document head, but I can’t identify any conflicts, as no errors are thrown anywhere. Just weird. I have to assume there is a plugin conflict, and it isn’t critical that fluency work with this install, but I was wondering if you’ve come across this and found a solution.

Other than this one install, everything else is fantastic.

I’m new to dealing with MU and modifying the admin area beyond what is done when adding options for plugins, so forgive my ignorance… If I understand it correctly, one option to allow settings if using the options table won’t suffice would be the use of custom hooks and actions, which the user could add [...]

@deanjrobinson – I tested it using the default settings area that I mentioned above but it didn’t work. (setting a default on activation in wp-fluency-admin.php) Probably because of the way MU handles options tables for each subsite. The only option I can think would be to recolor the default theme in the master css files. This [...]

Absolutely amazing update. Just what I have been waiting for and fast too. You the best plugin hands down on Wordpress as far as functionality, attractiveness, responsiveness, and style. I can’t live without fluency. Great job. No issues so far until wordpress breaks things again.
